It all started back in the year 2010, with two young Kuwaiti Food Entrepreneurs, Jassem Alduaij & Bader Aloqaili. The two had been contemplating an idea that food shouldn’t have to be unhealthy just because it’s quick. This is an idea that would prove to be more than just successful in the coming years.

Both Founders of the company were working together as employees in Kuwait’s Financial sector with a very busy day to day schedule. Most food at this time could be had fast, but at a consequence of being unhealthy. The young entrepreneurs soon realized they didn’t have the time to reach fresh and quick food that was healthy because it didn’t exist.

The two spent a whole year contemplating the idea of developing the concept, they had gone through 28 recipes of the PICK YO original mix conclusively coming up with the perfect pick and never been changed since. The young entrepreneurs then went on to open their very first branch in Kaifan, Kuwait. Following a few weeks after this they finalized the name “PICK YO” specializing in frozen yogurt in the year 2011. The business was an instant success and people were hooked on the concept that you could have healthy food in conjunction with the relativity of it being quick. The business was the first in the region of a healthy grab and go franchise whilst remaining true to its Kuwaiti routes.

The company flourished in the coming years and the two entrepreneurs knew that they had closed the gap in the market. PICK went on to be nominated for numerous awards throughout its years including the best SME company awarded buy the GCC council in 2016. They have since opened thirty three branches in Kuwait and are now branching out into the GCC region with a branch that opened in the year 2022 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

PICK had formulated healthy food on the go, consequently changing peoples lives for the better. The two entrepreneurs auspiciously completed their goal and are now looking back on what was once a problem, now a Joyful Healthy Living!
